Di Koch's practice is to support people in noticing and relating with the Knowing held within our multiple intelligences as we navigate transitions. The practice creates the conditions for slowing down, deep listening, tracking what is being communicated through our bodies, hearts, intuition, nervous systems and lineages of belonging. This generates perspective, insight and capacity for discernment, allowing grounded next steps to emerge.
She was born in South Africa and live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand, her partner’s Motherland. Over the years, she has studied and trained in Education, the Arts, Theatre for Social Activism, Sandplay, Dialogue, Thinking Partnerships, Family and Systemic Constellations, and Rites of Passage work. Her practice is rooted in and weaves together- systemic work, somatic awareness, and relational presence. Di see this as the work of deep remembering and reconnecting with our pathways towards wisdom.
In 2024, Di had the privilege to complete powerful transformative postgraduate study in Kaitiakitanga, through Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, applying a mātauranga Māori–led knowledge system to relationships of care and support. She value the immersive experience in the embodiment of a tuakana–teina approach— reciprocal, experience based, mana enhancing, honouring the dignity and strength of each person, as a way of being in this mahi.
These lineages, learnings, and her lived experience shape the way she accompany others.
