YOU ARE REGISTERED FOR THE IMMERSION 2026

Welcome,

We are excited to see you in Rotorua!

The immersion is a big part of ANZCI's vision for everyone to feel like they belong and our mission to expand our foundation, increase accessibility, and enhance the impact of family constellation through connection and community. We are so excited that you want to be part of it.

On this page you will find everything you need to know about the immersion. We recommend that you bookmark this page, as we will update it as we go. If you have any questions unanswered, please email info@anzci.nz.

Book in the dates and times

Book the dates in your calendar:  24th - 29th April 2026.
We start at 1 pm on the 24th and keep going until 3.30 pm on the 29th. To get the most out of this immersion, we recommend staying the entire time, as it will create a full experience for you.

The full schedule will be announced closer to the event.

We start 1pm With Pōhiri

We will all gather outside Arawa Park Hotel in Rotorua for our Pōhiri, traditional welcoming ceremony, which will begin at 1pm on April 24th. The people from this region will welcome us.

- All participants are invited to gift a koha ( $ donation) to be collected before the event starts, while we gather outside to be welcomed in. This will be gifted to the students and people of the community.

- It is customary for Wahine ( Females) to wear skirts and men to wear long trousers and shirts.

- Punctuality is a sign of respect. Arriving late can disrupt the ceremony. Use the waiting time to reflect and mentally prepare.

- As a guest, wait quietly at the entrance until the karanga (ceremonial call) begins. Follow the lead of your group’s representatives and maintain a respectful demeanour.

-Keep Silent During the Karanga: This is a sacred moment of spiritual connection. Avoid talking, taking photos, or using devices.

-Observing the karanga firsthand is a key step in experiencing what a pōwhiri is, as it symbolises the bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. We do not need to understand the spoken words; we can just experience them.
